We enjoyed a wonderfully warm welcome and great vibes in the bar. The owner's food suggestions were spot-on, particularly the legendary steak pie and generous portions. Spent two nights in a beautiful double room. The nearby wild camping field added a unique touch to the stay. Enjoyed hearty meals featuring locally sourced ingredients, especially the legendary beef pie! A tip , embrace the countryside charm despite the early morning dog barks.

I had a fantastic time here! The home-cooked food was genuinely the best I've ever had—I can't stop raving about the Sunday roast. The showers were splendid, super hot and powerful! Sadly, the bed was a bit tired but I absolutely loved the peaceful atmosphere.
